Nylon Polyester Spandex Tri-Blend Thermal Brushed French Terry Knit combines 55% nylon / 35% polyester / 10% spandex with a French Terry Knit construction. It is aimed at Swimwear that require chlorine and sunscreen resistance with shape retention, and the reason is straightforward: a cost-balanced hand with better abrasion life than straight nylon, so Thermal Brushed.

Why this construction works
Because a looped back French terry is used, the fabric behaves consistently across the roll: absorbency on the inside with a flat, printable outer face. That consistency is what lets a factory cut confidently and lets a brand repeat an order a season later with the same result.

Performance features
- Thermal Brushed: traps warm air while staying light enough for active use, measured by ISO 11092 thermal resistance.
- Hand and comfort: a cost-balanced hand with better abrasion life than straight nylon.
- Construction benefit: absorbency on the inside with a flat, printable outer face.
- Consistency: GSM and width tolerance are locked per lot and recorded on the inspection sheet.
- Durability: performance is verified after repeated washing, not only as delivered.
Recommended applications
Used for Swimwear and for the accessories around them. chlorine and sunscreen resistance with shape retention is the reason it is chosen, and the fabric bonds, prints and sews on standard machinery without special settings.

Dyeing, finishing and customisation
The fabric can be supplied greige, piece dyed or printed. Add-on finishes are selected after a wash durability trial, because a finish that disappears after five washes is worse than no claim at all.
Care instructions
- Machine wash at 30 degrees with mild detergent, no fabric softener.
- Dry away from direct heat and do not tumble dry hot.
- Cool iron on the reverse if needed, and avoid bleach.
Ordering, sampling and quality control
Minimum trial order is 300 metres per colour and bulk production takes 20-25 days once the approval sample is signed. Documentation includes test reports per lot, OEKO-TEX conformity and full construction sheets.

Frequently asked questions
Is the performance tested on every lot? Yes. The named test method is repeated on bulk fabric, not only on the approval sample, and the report carries the lot number so results can be traced back.
What is the minimum for a first order? Development starts at 300 metres per colour, which is enough for a proper wear trial and a small capsule. Bulk pricing improves at 1,000 metres and above per colour.
